Detroit Kovas is excited to welcome you to the 2026 Šalfass Sporto Švente May 15-17, 2026! For decades, the Detroit Kovas Lithuanian Sports Club has been a cornerstone for athletic excellence and cultural celebration, embodying the spirit of “Kovas” – a Lithuanian word reflecting resilience, agility, and community strength.

Where to be:
Divine Providence Church (Our Parapija) (map) will be the central hub of activity all weekend. Please come and join us throughout the weekend.
Friday evening – Come by for a welcome drink, watch some basketball and say hello to old friends. (6-10pm)
Saturday daytime – Use “Parapija” as your central Hub. We’ll have lunch food, snacks and drinks for sale during the day (10am – 3pm). Come hang out, tailgate, etc.
Saturday evening – Join us for a Saturday Night party – with Lithuanian food, music and games.
Sunday – Lite breakfast food available in the morning (8-11am) – Lunch including Koldunai and Desros & Kopustai at 11:30am.
