Detroit Kovas sporto klubas su malonumu
surengė šių metų jaunimo krepšinio turnyrą nuo
18 iki 20 d. Konkurse dalyvavo daugiau kaip 260
berniukų ir mergaičių (5-16 metų amžiaus),
atstovaujančių Čikagą, Clevelandą, Detroitą,
Torontą ir Mississaugą.
Turnyras prasidėjo penktadienio vakarą ir
baigėsi sekmadienio popietę, o savaitgalį grojo
70 žaidimų. Šeštadienio naktį daugiau nei 400
tėvų, trenerių, žaidėjų ir svečių susirinko į
Dieviškąją Providencinę bažnyčią vakarėliui,
kuriame dalyvavo krepšinio varžybos, kliūčių
ruožas ir muzika, taip pat maistas ir gėrimai,
kuriuos aptarnavo daug sunkiai dirbančių
savanorių.

The Detroit Kovas Sports Club was pleased to
host this year’s Junior Basketball Tournament
from May 18th-20th. Competing in the event
were over 260 boys and girls (5-16 years of
age), representing Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit,
Toronto and Mississauga.
The tournament began on Friday night and
concluded on Sunday afternoon, with 70 games
being played over the weekend. Saturday night,
over 400 parents, coaches, players and guests
gathered at Divine Providence Church for a
party featuring basketball contests, an obstacle
course and music as well as food and drinks
served by a number of hard-working volunteers.
Throughout the weekend, there were many
very good games and the results were as
